The release date for the first episode of “Well Done with Sebastian Maniscalco” Season 2 is November 16, 2021, according to The Wrap. The second season of the show will also be on the shorter side, with only six episodes — one less than the first season has — that are “hilarious half-hour journeys,” according to a statement from Food Network president Courtney White.
The show’s first season hasn’t even finished rolling out yet — The Wrap notes that the second season was announced just four days after the first season premiered, which is certainly a promising sign for the show. Though the debut season of “Well Done” is seven episodes long, only the first three were available on the August 12 premiere date. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the remaining episodes are planned to be released every Thursday for a month. That means you have nearly three months to binge all episodes of Season 1 before the first episodes of Season 2 premiere. As you might expect from a food show hosted by a comedian, “Well Done” is an easy and enjoyable watch, filled with appearances from the funny foodie’s family and his comedic cohorts, including actors Gillian Jacobs and Oscar Nuñez (via Discovery+).

“Well Done with Sebastian Maniscalco” is less a narrative-based show than it is a series of food-based adventures and explorations led by Maniscalco, but there will definitely be plenty of exciting surprises in store for the show’s second season. According to The Wrap, Season 2 will touch on Maniscalco’s previous career as a bartender, including a segment where the comedian will make a signature cocktail for fellow comic Whitney Cummings.
Additionally, Maniscalco will investigate the age-old question of why kids tend to be picky eaters, along with the food habits of dogs. The show’s second season will still incorporate lots of humor and clips of delicious food, just like it did in Season 1. Courtney White, president of Food Network and Cooking Channel, told The Wrap that fans can expect Maniscalco to find “inspiration in relatable questions about kids’ menus, high end dog food and the proper way to shake a cocktail.” If you’re still not convinced to give this show a watch before its second season is released, know that Decider put the show in their “stream it” category — as opposed to “skip it.” So, what are you waiting for? Hop on your (or a friend’s) Discovery+ account and have a “Well Done with Sebastian Maniscalco” marathon so that you’re ready when Season 2 drops in November.

We can expect that the same will go for Season 2, with The Wrap noting that famed dog whisperer Cesar Milan has also been announced as a guest. We predict that he’ll have something to do with Maniscalco investigating the eating habits of man’s best friend in his episode. Needless to say, we’re excited for the adventures Maniscalco will go on in his show’s second season.
